Aira System

Aira System is a Madrid-based insurtech that builds an AI-powered web platform for insurers, brokers and insurance agents. Policyholders use it to complete their own risk self-assessment in a few minutes, with no app to download. The platform combines AI, geolocation and several data sources to capture data in real time for underwriting, risk inspection, portfolio updates and customer insight. It was founded in 2021 by Javier Mato Benito, Óscar de la Pisa and Carlos Martín, launched commercially in July 2022 with products for the commercial and home insurance lines, and has gone through the F10, Demium and Lanzadera acceleration programmes. In 2022 the company closed a €250,000 pre-seed round led by Demium Capital and Easo Ventures, with Denq Ventures and business angels also taking part, alongside ENISA funding.
