Neuraptic AI is a Madrid-based artificial intelligence company that builds efficient multimodal AI inspired by the human brain. Its models are designed to learn from a small number of examples and run on standard hardware. Its SaaS machine-learning platform, Enaia, lets industrial and service companies design, train and maintain their own AI models by uploading their data, so they can automate tasks that previously needed people, with no technical expertise required. The company was founded in 2020 as a spin-off of the Public University of Navarra (UPNA) by Mikel Elkano, Mikel Galar and Mikel Xabier Úriz, and it also has an office in Mutilva, Navarra. In November 2022 it closed a €500,000 seed round led by Clave Capital through its Navarra Tech Transfer FCR fund, with the rest coming from business angels.
