Shapelets is a Málaga-based software company that builds a machine-learning platform for analysing time-series data in big-data environments. Its platform lets organisations collect and analyse time-series data, build forecasting models, and run data clustering, data integration and visualisation. It serves data-driven sectors such as energy, healthcare, Industry 4.0, IoT and financial services. Founded in 2018 by Justo Ruiz Ferrer, a former quant at BlueCrest Capital and CTO of ITRS, the company raised a €1M seed round from Inveready in 2021 to launch its product globally and expand the platform.
