QQrem
Qrem (Tecnología Regenerativa Qrem, S.L.) is a Barcelona-based medical device company that develops, manufactures and sells Lab-in-a-Box systems for autologous regenerative medicine. Its Qrem Cytokine system pairs an automated device with a sterile single-use kit that produces autologous cytokine-rich serum (SARC) from the patient's own blood in about 36 minutes. Physicians can then apply it in their own practice, without specialised lab infrastructure, to treat musculoskeletal conditions such as knee osteoarthritis and tendinopathies, as well as dermatological and aesthetic indications. The company sells to orthopaedic, rheumatology, sports medicine, pain and aesthetic specialists through a network of partner clinics across Spain, and it received CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745) in May 2023. Qrem was founded in Barcelona in 2016 by medical device engineers Josep M. Escuer and Núria Noguera. In 2020 it closed a €1 million capital increase led by Inveready's Inveready Biotech III fund, with business angels co-investing.
