Yego

Yego is a Barcelona-based shared electric mobility operator that rents electric mopeds, e-bikes and e-scooters by the minute through its mobile app, with helmets and insurance included in the ride. The company runs fleets in Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Málaga and Zaragoza in Spain, and in Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux and Nice in France. It also serves business customers, and in Barcelona it is one of three operators holding a metropolitan moto-sharing licence. Yego was founded in Barcelona in 2016 by Benjamin Viguier, Tim Ougeot and Yann Sander. It raised a €1.2M round in 2018 with participation from The Crowd Angel and business angels, followed in 2020 by a €7.5M round led solely by Dutch mobility and renewable-energy investor Ponooc.
