WWolo
Wolo is a Barcelona-based proptech company running a digital platform for long-term residential rentals, covering the whole process for landlords and tenants: marketing the property, screening tenants, contracts and ongoing management. It also works in home sales. Its B2B2C model charges tenants one month's rent upfront and takes a 5% monthly fee from landlords, which lets the company recover its customer acquisition cost on the first transaction. Wolo was started in late 2019 by 101 Ventures with Guinot Prunera and business angels, and launched in 2020. It completed more than 2,000 rentals in its first two years, doubled revenue in 2023 while profitable, and reports a default rate close to zero. In March 2024 it closed a €1.5M round led by Inderhabs, Farside Ventures, GVC Gaesco and Relats, with Metral, Reto 140 Invest, Dozen and Burri 2002 also taking part.
