Kasaz is a Barcelona-based proptech company that runs an online real estate marketplace for buying and selling homes in Spain. The portal is built to shorten the time to purchase. Listings come with professional photography and descriptions in both Spanish and English, alongside tools that help buyers judge a property and book viewings. Founded in December 2017 by Sébastien Marion and Idriss Farhat, the platform grew from about 1,300 listings in early 2019 to around 90,000 by October 2020, when it reported break-even. Kasaz raised roughly €300,000 in 2018. It then raised a 2019 round led by US angel investor Howard Love and a €1.1 million pre-seed round in October 2020 through convertible notes, backed by business angels including Anton Gauffin, Henric Suuronen and Juha Paananen.
