HOWZAT Partners is a Luxembourg-based venture capital fund, founded in 2006, that invests in early-stage digital businesses that already show traction. It backs internet, e-commerce, travel, SaaS, fintech, edtech, property, food, transportation and gaming companies across Europe, especially the UK, Ireland and Germany, and also in North America, Asia and the Middle East. The partners take an active operational role in their companies, and the firm has raised three funds. Its portfolio of more than 70 companies includes Spotahome, Lodgify, Academia.edu, Lingoda, Audicus and Navan, and its exits include Trivago (sold to Expedia), TrustedPlaces (sold to Yell) and Just Spices (sold to Kraft Heinz).
