Caldra is a Valencia-based clinical AI start-up whose SaaS platform answers complex clinical questions for healthcare professionals, researchers and medical students. It links large language models to verified scientific databases such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov and OpenFDA through a retrieval-augmented architecture. Every answer cites its original source by PMID or DOI. The product includes clinical search, a structured research module and secure document analysis. It is sold on a freemium subscription model, with institutional licences for universities and training centres. Caldra has taken part in the CEEI Valencia/INCIBE Emprende cybersecurity acceleration programme, the University of Valencia's IATECUV AI incubator and the Lanzadera acceleration programme.
