Nextbit is a Valencia-based AI infrastructure company that provides inference as a service for open-source AI models, aimed at companies and institutions that need European data residency and compliance with GDPR and the EU AI Act. It offers a pay-per-token serverless inference API, dedicated endpoints, GPU cloud access and on-premise deployments, all running on its own data-centre infrastructure in Spain. Its models are also served to developers worldwide through OpenRouter, and the company is a member of NVIDIA Inception and the AWS Partner Network. Nextbit was founded in 2021 by Marc Sanmillan and Alejandro Fabregat, raised an investment round in 2023, and in 2025 joined Lanzadera, Juan Roig's accelerator, with backing from Angels Capital.
