VVertiports Network
Vertiports Network is a Madrid-based urban air mobility start-up that develops modular vertiports for electric air taxis (eVTOL). The vertiports can be fitted to rooftops and other urban spaces, and they are managed by an AI-based software platform that handles flight booking and ticketing, energy distribution and unmanned traffic management, with a mobile app for passengers. Founded in 2023 by an industrial engineer and a team of architects and designers, the company is certified by ENISA as an emerging company and went through the Lanzadera accelerator. The Teruel Airport Consortium approved its plan for an Urban Air Mobility Innovation Centre (CIMAU) at Teruel Airport, where the company plans to build and certify a modular vertiport, and it is raising €4.5–6 million in public and private funding for this.
