SHEDRIVES is a Barcelona-based company building an independent safety certification standard for women, children and families in ride-hailing, taxi and carpooling services. Its six-layer SafeTech standard combines an 8-hour driver training and accreditation programme on gender bias, harassment protocols and child safety with a multivariable operator scoring engine, monthly independent mystery-shopper audits, route monitoring and ESG reporting, sold to taxi and VTC operators, businesses and cities. Founded in 2024 by former adidas, Reebok and Levi's executive Silvia Tallón, who drove for a VTC platform for six months to validate the concept, the company has conducted more than 600 interviews with women and plans pilots in Barcelona and Madrid in 2026. It is supported by Barcelona Activa and has signed a letter of intent with 22@Network Barcelona.
