VDMHealth

vdmhealth.com ↗ ·Barcelona

VDMHealth is a Barcelona-based healthtech company that builds clinical AI infrastructure for healthcare organisations. It combines AI-powered medical imaging, structured patient interaction, clinical workflow orchestration and system interoperability into a skin-intelligence platform that turns observable biological change into digital biomarkers and evidence for wound care, chronic disease management and metabolic health programmes. Its platform has been used by more than 7,000 doctors, and it has deployments in three Spanish regions: Madrid, Valencia and La Rioja. The brothers Jordi and David Ferrer founded the company in 2016. It has been backed by Spanish and EU-funded research projects, including NextGenerationEU funds, and in 2022 it was preparing a €3 million round to bring in its first external investors.
