Silt is a Spanish identity-verification and fraud-prevention startup (legal entity SILT DIGITAL ID SL) whose AI-based digital ID lets users verify themselves in under 10 seconds — and re-verify in ~6 seconds without re-photographing their document — via no-code, SDK or API integration, covering KYC, AML, PEP screening and GDPR compliance for neobanks, marketplaces, shared mobility, car rental, real estate, hotel check-in and online gaming. Founded in Barcelona in 2019 by two ex-Verse employees, it is seed-stage with roughly 9–15 people, fully remote with staff in Barcelona and Madrid, and operates on a 4-day work week.
