Holaluz (legally Holaluz-Clidom, S.A.) is a Barcelona-based green energy tech company founded in 2010 that sells 100% renewable electricity and gas to homes and businesses in Spain and installs rooftop solar for self-consumption under its 'Rooftop Revolution' strategy. It was Spain's first fully online electricity retailer, became the first Spanish utility certified as a B Corp, and has been listed on BME Growth since November 2019 (ticker HLZ), so it is a public company rather than a VC-stage startup. As of July 2026 Spain's Ministry for Ecological Transition opened proceedings to revoke its electricity retailer licence and to transfer its ~300,000 customers to a reference supplier, and BME Growth suspended trading in its shares.
