HealthMate is a Spanish healthtech startup building AI-powered 'digital employees' for private clinics, practices and hospitals — a virtual receptionist that handles patient communication across WhatsApp, phone calls and Instagram, plus scheduling, reminders, follow-up, billing and clinical admin. The company launched in 2024 as Physia; PHYSIA AI Software Solutions, S.L. remains the legal entity and 'Physia' survives as a physiotherapy-vertical product sub-brand. It is pre-seed stage (€300K closed June 2025 with ENISA, a ~€750K round reported in closing in 2026), spun out of the Miguel Hernández University Science Park in Elche with ~13 people, claims 100+ clinic clients, 800K automated messages and 30K patients, and has passed through Lanzadera and won SeedRocket's 35th Campus. It is headquartered in Alicante.
