Sycai Technologies (brand name Sycai Medical) is a Barcelona-based healthtech company that builds AI software for radiologists, automatically detecting, segmenting and classifying abdominal lesions — starting with pancreatic cystic lesions — on CT and MRI scans to enable earlier cancer diagnosis. Founded in 2020 and spun out of the Barcelona research ecosystem, it obtained CE marking under MDR for its pancreas application in summer 2024 after completing its first clinical trial in 2023, and closed a €3M round in January 2025 led by LUMO Labs and Ship2B Ventures to fund European commercial rollout and FDA submission.
