IriusRisk builds an open, automated threat-modeling platform that helps developers, architects and security teams design secure software and manage risk throughout the SDLC. Founded in 2015 in Huesca, Spain, it raised roughly $37-64M across Series A and B rounds; in January 2026 it was acquired by ThreatModeler (majority-owned by Invictus Growth Partners) in a $100M+ deal to form the combined leader in enterprise threat modeling, so it now operates as part of ThreatModeler rather than as an independent company.
