Hausum, a Madrid proptech company that inspects homes, has closed a seed round of more than €500,000, led by DIROCA. The company was founded in 2023 by Aleix del Campo, an architect, and Omar Lamarca, a computer engineer, which is roughly the pairing you would design if you wanted someone to look at a house and then put what they found into software.
The idea is to use digital tools to make home inspections more professional and less inefficient, which is a modest ambition in a market where people routinely commit large sums to buildings they have walked through once.
The money is meant to fund expansion across Spain and to strengthen the team, the organisation and its operating infrastructure.
