Candam Technologies closed a round of more than €270,000 covered by CDTI, EIT InnoEnergy and ENION Partners to scale its EU-patented 'Candam Smart Ring RecySmart', a device that identifies packaging materials on any waste bin to enable low-cost deposit-return and reward schemes. The Barcelona company, founded in 2017, will use the money to consolidate its position in waste collection and start international expansion.
