Madrid-based Sybol, founded in 2024, closed a mixed public-private round of just over €1M to scale its corporate digital identity platform and business wallet for issuing and verifying verifiable credentials ahead of the EU's eIDAS2 framework. No single lead was named; participants included Spain's state technology vehicle SETT, Repsol, Grupo Synaptia, Bolboreta Innova Group, Tritemius, Venturade and Chromata Invest, and the company is also expanding to the US via a partnership with Blockchain for Energy.
