Sybol is a Madrid-based startup building blockchain-based corporate digital identity infrastructure — a 'business wallet' that lets companies issue, hold and exchange verifiable credentials with clients, suppliers and employees without intermediaries, aligned with eIDAS2, the EUDI Wallet and GDPR. It was spun out of Repsol Digital's intrapreneurship programme in 2025, with Repsol transferring its verifiable-credentials technology and taking a ~15% stake through its corporate venturing arm. In April 2026 it closed a round of over €1M (public + private) and is focusing initial deployments on ESG/sustainability certificate verification, with early clients including Repsol and Blockchain for Energy and a first US deployment underway.
