A4Cell, a nanotechnology spin-off built with researchers from the Barcelona Institute of Microelectronics whose SPAchip silicon microchips allow real-time study of living single cells, announced a €3 million investment to scale R&D and its team. Later reporting broke the round down as €2 million from Dreavent, €666,000 from BeAble Capital's Innvierte KETs fund and €334,000 from Spain's Ministry of Science/CDTI.
