UAB spin-off AEInnova closed a €3 million round, raised in three tranches during 2023 and led by existing shareholder CXC Renovables, with new investors and a €1.2 million injection from the EU's European Innovation Council Fund (which had previously granted it a €1 million convertible loan). The company converts industrial waste heat into electricity to power wireless predictive-maintenance sensors and has now raised about €8 million in total.
