Sofía announced a new $21M round led by Madrid-based Kfund, with existing backers Index Ventures, Kaszek and IDB Lab (BID Lab) re-upping and Chilean/Mexican fund Kayyak Ventures (via general partner Manuel Sescosse) investing for the first time; the company said the money funds sales acceleration, AI in triage and policy/patient management, and new products. No series letter was disclosed by the company; trackers label it Series B. Sofía put total capital raised at $46M since 2018, which implies this $21M figure encompasses the $13.5M tranche announced in December 2024 rather than being wholly incremental.
