Globick (Globick Activities Hub S.L.) closed a €1.4M round — reported as $1.5M in the English-language travel trade press — with participation from all of its existing investors, a mix of venture capital funds and travel-tech business angels, plus new institutional money from the Institut Català de Finances, the Catalan government's public bank. Directory filings name José Rey, Institut Català de Finances, Plug and Play, COREangels (Barcelona and Lisbon chapters) and Worldera among the backers, with Innoventures Capital recorded as investing on the same date; proceeds went to commercial expansion and to the technical team that integrates supplier and reseller APIs. At the time Globick had 35+ clients across 12 countries, including Trip.com, Hellotickets and HIS Group, and 16x transaction growth year on year.
