TrustWorks closed a new, undisclosed funding round led by Irish investment house Elkstone (Elkstone Ventures), with existing backer Nauta Capital also in the company's cap table; Crunchbase and CB Insights both record the deal as a seed-stage round dated 26 August 2025 with the amount undisclosed. The capital is earmarked for product innovation around GDPR and EU AI Act automation and for international market expansion from its Valencia, Dublin and Sao Paulo bases; the company also highlighted non-funding wins around this time, including the PICCASO 'Most Impactful Data Privacy Product' award and a Google Cloud AI innovation/booster award.
