PoolComet — Pre-seed

PoolComet closed an oversubscribed equity round from a group of well-known Spanish founder-angels — Alejandro and Pablo Sánchez Blanes (Freepik), Ben Askew-Renaut (Packlink), François Derbaix (Indexa Capital), Marina Zaliznyak (Bliss Ventures) and Xavier Pladellorens (Deporvillage) — with no lead named and the amount undisclosed; founder Salvador Mauri said he turned down larger VC funds to bring in operators instead. Crunchbase and CB Insights record it as an Angel round with six investors; Bewater later disclosed that PoolComet had raised about €0.5M in total before its December 2025 round, which brackets the size of this one. The company also holds ENISA "empresa emergente" certification, which is a certification rather than funding.
