Barbara IoT closed its first institutional round, €500,000 led by GoHub Ventures (the corporate venturing vehicle of Global Omnium) with Basque public funds Seed Capital Bizkaia and Basque Fondo also entering the cap table, after completing the GoHub Accelerator programme. Funds went to centres of excellence in Bilbao (energy and Industry 4.0) and Valencia (utilities and public sector) ahead of international expansion; EU-Startups reported the round as 'over €400K' while the company and Spanish press stated €500,000.
