UOBO — the plant-based liquid egg brand run by the same Barcelona legal entity that now operates SIMO (UOBO Foodtech S.L. / Ouvo Plant Based S.L., since renamed VitalPeak S.L.) — closed a €500,000 seed round led by Enzo Ventures, described in Spanish press as its second investment round, to fund R&D and B2B expansion. The round was announced alongside a strategic partnership with Cubiq Foods to co-develop egg-free products for manufacturers; Cubiq Foods is named as a partner rather than a confirmed investor, and EIT Food, KM ZERO and ShakeUp Factory appear in databases as backers via accelerator programmes rather than as disclosed participants in this round.
