Ouvo Plant Based S.L. (later UOBO, today VitalPeak S.L., operator of the SIMO children's nutrition brand) closed its first investment round of €181,000 from several business angels and one venture capital fund, to fund product development, team building and its 2023 launch into Horeca and retail. No lead was disclosed; named angels were Carlota Bruna and TwoJeys founders Biel Juste and Joan Margarit, while the participating fund was not named. The company separately secured a €156,000 ENISA innovative-entrepreneurship participative loan, which is excluded here as it was not announced as a round; one vegconomist interview quotes the round at €186,000 rather than €181,000.
