Shinephi — Seed · €1M

Shinephi, ICFO's 13th spin-off, closed a €1M seed round led by Grow Venture Partners through the FITA deep-tech fund (backed by the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Institut Catala de Finances and the European Investment Fund), with Shinephi among the fund's first five portfolio companies. Four technical and strategic business angels co-invested; the money funds prototype development, validation of its lateral shearing interferometry phase-imaging module and work on robustness, compactness and scalability for semiconductor metrology. The round was picked up by international optics trade press in late November 2025; the company has also collected non-dilutive recognition (Deep Tech Pioneers, Ignite Award 2025, Santander X, Catalan Startup of the Year 2025) that is not counted here as funding.
