Orain closed a €3M round led by Bonsai Partners — its first investment from Bonsai's then-new €165M fund — with Actyus, ElParking founder Enrique Dominguez and existing shareholders also participating. The money was earmarked for strengthening the team and technology and for pushing the cashless micropayments platform into new verticals and markets in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, after Orain was used as an official payment method at the Qatar World Cup.
