Histocell closed a €2.5M capital increase announced on 11 June 2015 to fund the international launch of its Reoxcare wound-healing product, planned for late 2015; the deal was supported by Bizkaia's Beaz/Albia Capital network. Seed Capital Bizkaia entered the shareholding through this round with €0.4M from its SEED BI fund. No lead investor and no stage label were stated; the company has said it raised roughly €9M in equity from institutional and private investors between 2006 and this period, plus about €6M of non-dilutive public and private financing that is not counted as a round.
