HESStec raised a €2.3M Series A from three energy-sector corporates: Elewit (the technology platform of the Red Electrica / Redeia group), Quantum (Capital Energy's corporate venturing vehicle) and RIC Energy; no lead investor was stated. Proceeds were to double headcount within 15 months and expand its laboratory at the Valencia technology park. Databases also log a separate EU grant (non-venture, ~$2.7M) attributed to the company in early 2021, which is not counted as a round here.
