Operating as Enigmedia, the company closed a €1.5M round led by Alma Mundi Innvierte Fund, the CDTI-Innvierte co-investment vehicle of Alma Mundi Ventures (now Mundi Ventures), to scale its patented real-time encryption technology towards industrial and critical-infrastructure customers. Spanish press and the Basque Government both labelled this round a 'Serie A', so it is reported as such even though the 2023 raise was also announced as a Series A; earlier backing came from Seed Gipuzkoa and Basque Government/SPRI entrepreneurship support, and a €75,000 ENISA participative loan taken in 2013, none of which are counted here as rounds.
