Wallbox announced a private placement of 18,832,432 Class A ordinary shares at $2.58 per share for aggregate gross proceeds of about $48.6M, taken up by existing investors and strategic partners including Orilla Asset Management and co-founder and CEO Enric Asunción; the placement was expected to close on 15 June 2023. The company said the transaction strengthened its balance sheet and provided growth capital to execute its strategic plan.
