After launching its first products, the Commander and the Pulsar, Wallbox raised about €750K in the summer of 2016 from investors including the Soler family, owners of Quadis, Catalonia's largest car dealership group; Pol Soler later joined the Wallbox board. Only the year is reliably reported so the date is given as 2016-01 — sources place the round in summer 2016 — and no lead investor was named. Wallbox had earlier been launched in 2015 with roughly €300K of initial capital, which was never announced as a formal round.
