Embat's first funding round, €1.5M, was co-led by VentureFriends and SeedRocket 4Founders Capital (Crunchbase files it as a pre-seed; some Spanish coverage simply called it the company's first round). Business angels included Borja Prado (Peninsula Capital), Maximilian Tayenthal (N26 co-founder) and founders of Belvo, ThePowerMBA and Vivla; the round took about six months to close and funded the launch of the real-time treasury platform built by ex-J.P. Morgan bankers Antonio Berga and Carlos Serrano.
