VentureFriends is an Athens-based early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2016 that invests at pre-seed and seed in founders across Europe and the Middle East & North Africa. It typically writes initial tickets of €0.5–3M and reserves about twice that for follow-ons, backing sectors such as fintech, proptech, marketplaces and B2B software. The firm manages about €300M across four funds, the latest launched in 2025, and has made more than 80 investments. Its portfolio includes Blueground, Belvo, InstaShop, Huspy, Carmoola and the Spanish treasury-management platform Embat.
