Belvo is an open finance API platform for Latin America — often described as "LatAm's Plaid" — that lets companies connect to users' bank, fiscal, and employment data and initiate account-to-account payments through a single API. Founded in 2019 by Pablo Viguera and Uri (Oriol) Tintoré, it went through Y Combinator's W20 batch and has raised roughly $80M across five rounds, most recently a $15M Series B in April 2025 led by new investor Quona Capital. Belvo is Spanish-founded but operationally LatAm-focused, with offices in Mexico City and São Paulo plus a Barcelona presence.
