Toqio is a Madrid- and London-based embedded finance software company. Its low-code SaaS platform and partner marketplace let non-financial businesses build and launch their own branded banking, payments, cards and lending products on web or app, typically in weeks, and fit them into their existing customer journeys. It was founded in 2019 by Eduardo Martínez Garcia and Michael Galvin, who previously built the SME SaaS company Geniac, later acquired by Grant Thornton. Toqio has partnerships with Visa, Adyen and MeaWallet and reports more than 50 customers across Europe. It raised an €8M seed round in 2021 co-led by Seaya Ventures and Speedinvest with SIX FinTech Ventures, followed in 2022 by a €20M Series A led by Albion VC with Aldea Ventures and existing investors, which included a CDTI grant.
