Clarity AI is a sustainability technology company that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to give investors, asset managers, governments, companies and consumers environmental, social and governance data and impact analytics. Its SaaS platform helps financial institutions measure the societal and environmental impact of their portfolios, screen investments and meet regulatory reporting requirements such as SFDR, and its capabilities are integrated into BlackRock's Aladdin platform. Founded in 2017 by Rebeca Minguela, the company is headquartered in New York, runs its technology hub in Madrid and has offices in London, Paris and Abu Dhabi, with a team of more than 300 people. Clarity AI raised a $15 million round led by Deutsche Börse with Mundi Ventures in 2020, followed by a $50 million Series B in 2021 led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 with participation from BlackRock and Fifth Wall, which valued the company at about $450 million.
