Lynx is a Madrid-based financial crime technology company that provides AI-powered fraud prevention, anti-money laundering (AML) and money mule account detection software for banks and payment processors. Its platform relies on a proprietary Daily Adaptive Model that retrains continuously and scores transactions in under 15 milliseconds. It processes more than 76 billion transactions a year and protects over 330 million users in 12 countries, with customers including Banco Santander, BCP, Cielo and PagoNxt. The company's fraud-detection technology dates back to 1995, and it was developed by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid professor Carlos Santa Cruz. In November 2023 Lynx raised a €17 million Series A led by Forgepoint Capital, with participation from Banco Santander.
