factory14
factory14 was a holding company that bought and grew digital consumer brands, mainly established third-party sellers on Amazon's fulfilment programme (FBA) and direct-to-consumer brands with at least $1 million in annual sales. It focused on a small number of high-quality brands. After buying a brand, it used shared operations, supply chain and marketing to grow it, and the brands included bike-tools seller Pro Bike Tool. It was founded in 2021 and based in Luxembourg, with offices in Madrid, London, Shanghai and Taipei. It launched in May 2021 with $200 million in funding, which combined an equity seed round co-led by dmg ventures and DN Capital, with VentureFriends also investing, and a debt facility from Victory Park Capital. By the time rival brand aggregator Razor Group acquired it in May 2022, factory14 owned more than 20 e-commerce brands.
