Buddy is a Valencia-based omnichannel pet retail group that sells pet food, accessories and care products through physical stores and e-commerce. Its brands include Maskokotas, Miscota, Animalear, Petness and Vetality, and it operates in Spain, Portugal and France. The group has since been unifying these brands under the Miscota name. It runs company-owned and franchised stores alongside online shops, and reported €47 million in revenue in 2020, about €37 million of it online. Vicent Jornet and Pascual Lledó founded Maskokotas in Valencia in 2010. In December 2020 the Italian fund Milano Investment Partners invested €7 million in the group, which was then reorganised under the Buddy holding.
