Milano Investment Partners (MIP SGR) is a Milan-based asset management company that runs reserved alternative investment funds focused on venture capital. It was founded in 2017 by Angelo Moratti, Paolo Gualdani and Igor Pezzilli. Its first fund, MIP I, launched in 2018 with €100M and a European focus. It backed Series A+ consumer, lifestyle, D2C, e-commerce, food and retail companies. In 2021 the firm added U-Start Ventures, a multi-compartment club-deal fund for the US and Northern Europe, and Cliffs, an early-stage deep-tech fund investing mainly in the US. Its portfolio includes Poke House, Colvin and Exoticca. In 2025 the firm was acquired by Soprarno SGR of the Banca Ifigest group, and the combined company now operates as L&B Capital SGR.
