Project Lobster — Seed · €300K

Project Lobster's first institutional round, €300K led by early-stage fund Cabiedes & Partners with Abac Nest and investor club Angel Club (backers of Badi and Chicisimo) participating. The eyewear start-up, founded in Barcelona in May 2018 by Óscar Valledor with €40K of friends-and-family money inside the Lanzadera accelerator (and originally launched via a Banco Santander entrepreneurship programme), used the capital to move into physical retail beyond its Barcelona and Valencia stores, including its first Madrid opening, targeting €1M of 2019 revenue.
