MESbook closed its first-ever funding round, raising close to €2M led by Bewater Funds, which contributed roughly half the capital (about €1M) through its Bewater MESbook FICC and Renta 4 Bewater I FCR vehicles, alongside Cartera de Inversiones CM, Aliquam Investments (AUNA) and Archipélago Next. The company, incubated at Lanzadera and previously bootstrapped on under €30,000 of invested capital, said the round was oversized after nearly a year of talks to bring in investors with industrial, SaaS and internationalisation profiles, targeting 300 factory projects by 2023.
