Nanoligent, a spin-off of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Sant Pau research institute, closed its first round of €1 million co-led by Italian Angels for Growth and AVANTECA Partners, with the Italian platform Doorway also investing. The money funds preclinical development of its nanoconjugate drugs that selectively kill metastatic cells overexpressing the CXCR4 receptor.
